Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We posted as many nearby hotels, lodges, and cabins that we could find under the travel & lodging tab! There will be additional options on airbnb and vrbo. The sooner you make lodging reservations, the better. Alaska gets very busy in the summer time, and places tend to book up quickly!

What type of clothing should I pack?

Answer

Be sure to pack a variety of clothing options, not exclusively long sleeves. Alaska does tend to be cooler than most places in the summer, but temperatures are still appropriate for short sleeves. Jackets and rain jackets are a good idea, and closed toed shoes such as hiking shoes and tennis shoes are also preferable! The average temperatures in the summer time range from a high of 69 degrees to a low of 48 degrees.

What type of footwear should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Both the ceremony as well as the reception will be taking place in grass. So use discretion when selecting your footwear. Heels may not be ideal.
