FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Texas Formal. This attire blends classic elegance with a touch of Western flair—think suits, gowns, cocktail dresses, cowboy boots, and hats. We kindly request that guests refrain from wearing white, as that color is reserved for the bride. Thank you for dressing to celebrate with us in style!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love little ones and are happy to have them join in the celebration. However, we kindly ask that parents provide close supervision at all times. For everyone's enjoyment, we reserve the right to ask that any unruly children be taken outside or home if necessary. A kids corner will be provided during the reception, but parental supervision is required. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly recommend that guests plan to arrive at the ceremony site between 4:00 PM and 4:20 PM to ensure a timely and smooth start. Please note that guests arriving after the ceremony has begun will not be seated, in order to maintain the flow and intimacy of the occasion. Your punctuality is deeply appreciated as we begin this special celebration.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

Absolutely! BYOB — just hand it over to our bartender when you get there and they’ll keep you happily topped off all night. One request: please stick to cans (no glass), unless you’re in the mood to make a very generous donation to the venue’s “oops” fine fund.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request your response by September 1, 2025 to ensure we can plan accordingly. If we don’t hear from you by then, we’ll assume you’re bringing your own chair and a sandwich! 😉

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered on Amazon for those who wish to give a traditional gift. In addition, contributions to our honeymoon fund or the “Sheryl Needs More Farm Animals” Fund are also welcome and appreciated. Please know that your presence is the greatest gift of all, and while gifts or donations are not required, they are sincerely appreciated. Venmo details will be available at the gift table during the reception for those who wish to contribute electronically.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

A limited number of cabins are available on-site for guest accommodations. To inquire about reserving one of these cabins, please contact the bride directly. Additionally, there are several hotels, RV parks, and Airbnb options located within minutes of the venue. Please refer to the list of nearby accommodations provided below for your convenience. Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, complimentary on-site parking is available for all guests. All events and festivities will take place at the same location, so no additional travel between venues is necessary.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

The dinner will be served buffet-style and will include beef, chicken, and sausage. If you have any food allergies or medical dietary requirements, we kindly ask that you contact the mother of the bride in advance so we can make appropriate accommodations.
