Hotel Marcel’s location in New Haven’s historic Long Wharf district, less than 10 minutes from Yale University, place us at the gateway to New England. From here, guests can take part in an array of cultural and nature-fueled activities—after the wedding, of course. Reservations must be completed by March 20, 2024 to be eligible for the room block. Reservations made after March 20, 2024 will be on a space-and-rate-available basis. Please help us out by booking in advanced if you know you will be participating in the room block, so we can ensure that we have enough rooms for all of our guests on our special day! Question
Will transportation be provided to the reception?
Answer
Yes, we will be providing transportation to and from Hotel Marcel for the reception. Shuttles will leave the hotel between 4:00-4:15 pm EST for a 5pm EST cocktail hour. Shuttles will depart the reception between 11:00-11:30 pm EST.

Will there be parking at the church?

Parking at St. Gabriel’s Church is very limited. Guest’s can park at the reception venue Tyde at Walnut Beach, which is one block from the church.

Southwestern dining. Great appetizers, cocktails and of course, Tequila! The short rib tacos are a 10/10.

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana
Probably the most iconic New Haven pizza spot. Their clam pie is a hit! One thing to know is the wait could get pretty heavy on a Friday!
Otaru Sushi Bar
This is definitely a "treat yo-self" spot, but insanely worth it. Omakase tasting menu includes 3 crafted small plates, 10 pieces of the best nigiri you could imagine, a hand roll, soup, and a dessert. $108 per person, reservation required. 15/10.
Mecha Noodle Bar
Pho, ramen, and cocktails -- Mecha serve some of Asia's most comforting dishes. Fun, high energy atmosphere with great cocktails and an amazing twist on Asian classics.
