Grace had been visiting Miami Beach frequently for 13 years utilizing her parents second home as a free vacation spot. Ted had been living in Miami beach for over a decade. On a now particularly special trip Grace visited with a friend and they ended up having dinner at the bar at Prime Italian (Gertie Family favorite). Ted, who rarely ate there, also happened to be there with two friends. After a quick hello, Ted and Grace got talking, initially about how they both used to live in Cincinnati. The chemistry was there! Grace ended up changing her flight at Ted's request and they ended up spending the rest of the week getting to know each other. Then Ted came to Philadelphia to visit Grace for a long weekend and got to meet some of her friends. After many more flights back and forth, Grace made the move to Miami Beach in November 2023, and the rest is history.
