We were introduced by a mutual friend at a local bar in November of 2016. After some hours of talking and flirting, Jake was smitten and he wasn’t going to let me leave without my phone number and a kiss (which he got on the cheek). Jakes words “We were both smitten.” We went on a couple dates, but our lives took different paths for a few years. We kept in touch here and there and would bump into each other randomly, but Jake was persistent in wanting something more than just a friendship, so he continued to ask me out. Jake’s words “I never took your no’s seriously, I just had to be patient cause I knew you’d come to your senses eventually.” Confident much? In 2021 we reunited and this time, Jake was never going to let me go. We solidified our relationship after just a month of dating and the rest is history… Timing is a funny thing and love ALWAYS finds a way.
