Travel Note
Our wedding’s festivities are centred around Sitges and Vilanova I la Geltrú, around 35 minutes from the airport going south away from Barcelona. The best way of getting from the airport to Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltrú is a taxi - they are in abundance at the airport and cost around 85 €.
Train
Or alternatively there is a direct train from the airport to Vilanova i la Geltrú and Sitges, which costs less than 5 €. It takes 55 mins running along beautiful cliffs and coastline.

All the accommodation venues are within a 15 minute drive of each other and the beach and the parties. There will be shuttles all night back and forth between Sitges (Hotel Terramar ME) and the wedding location all night.

1. Visit the Mercat de Sitges - this is a traditional market where you can find fresh local produce, artisanal products, and more. 2. Take a walk along the Passeig Maritim - this scenic waterfront promenade offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and is lined with cafes and restaurants. 3. Explore the old town - Sitges' historic center is full of charming streets, squares, and buildings, including the iconic church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla. 4. Spend some time at the beach - Sitges has several beautiful beaches, including Platja de la Fragata and Platja de Sant Sebastia, where you can swim, sunbathe, and relax. 5. Visit the Cau Ferrat Museum - this museum is dedicated to the life and work of artist and Sitges resident Santiago Rusiñol, and features a collection of his paintings, sculptures, and other artworks.
It should be noted there is a cultural festival going on in Sitges. It is a Bear Festival.
Vilanova i la Geltru is a charming town located in Catalonia, Spain, just a short distance from Barcelona. Its stunning beaches, historic architecture, and delicious local cuisine make it a must-visit destination.

The chance of rain during this time is relatively low, with an average of only 3-4 rainy days in September. The sea temperature is also warm, around 24-25°C (75-77°F), making it perfect for swimming and water activities. The warm and sunny weather, combined with the beautiful coastal scenery, is sure to create a festive and energetic atmosphere that will keep everyone in high spirits.
