We always debate on the time of year that we met, but it was 2008 the good old fashion way. We met in a bar. City Tavern when it was formally on Main St in old town Manassas, VA.

While on vacation with a bunch of our friends at Outer Banks Beach, the day goes by quickly and we start to get ready to go to the beach to watch fireworks. Our friend Cody was staying behind to light off some fireworks before heading to the beach to join us. As a group we all walk to the beach that is across the street and everyone starts taking pictures with their families and finding comfy spots for the show to begin. Come to find out Cody was a ploy.....haha.....Dave announced for everyone to watch the fireworks that Cody was going to set off. While the fireworks are going off, I hear Dave say my name. I turned around and found Dave down on his knee. I couldn't believe my eyes and immediately the water works started. I looked around me and see our friends with huge smiles and cameras going. I said the most excited yes I think I have ever said.
