Hotel
There is a wide selection of hotel and Airbnb options to choose from in Bath. We recommend you stay in or close to the centre to get the full experience! Bath is not a big city so we would suggest booking accommodation as soon as possible. We primarily use Airbnb when visiting Bath, and there are a number of great options.

Flight
Bath is well connected from London. From London Heathrow (LHR), there is a direct bus option which takes just over 2 hours and runs 7 times a day. Alternatively, take the Elizabeth Line to Paddington to connect to Bath via train, ~2 hours total. If flying in from Europe, consider if there are any flights into Bristol airport (BRS) which is 30 mins from Bath.
Travel Note
National Express offers direct coach services from Heathrow terminals to Bath Bus Station, taking around 2 hours and 10 minutes. Single fares start from £10 when booked in advance, and the coaches provide amenities like WiFi, charging ports, and comfortable seating. This option avoids train transfers so can be easier with lots of luggage.
Train
Take the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow to London Paddington – it takes around 25-30 minutes, and you can simply tap in and out with contactless. The Heathrow Express is an alternative, but it’s typically more expensive for only a slightly faster journey. From Paddington, transfer to a Great Western Railway (GWR) train to Bath Spa, which takes about 1 hour 20 minutes. This leg requires a separate ticket. The Trainline app is a convenient way to check schedules and book the Paddington–Bath ticket, and you can often save money with GroupSave fares for groups of three or more.
Hotel
This hotel is a stones throw from the historic Abbey (aptly named). It will be centrally located for many of the events in Bath, and easy to walk to the main sights.
Hotel
Very near to the Roman Baths, and centrally located. They have a great high tea and a nice spa in their own right.
Hotel
A little further north of the centre of Bath, but still walkable. It will be one of the further options from the train station. Royal Crescent is peak Bridgerton vibes.
Hotel
A known quantity, but centrally located as well. Five minute walk to the Roman Baths.
RSVP instructions are coming with your invite. Until then, please remain calm and carry on.
To prevent any transatlantic misunderstandings about which side of the road is correct, all Thursday and Friday events are within walking distance of central Bath. On Saturday, a shuttle from the city centre will take everyone safely to the venue.
It is not advised. The areas around the Baths are uneven and slippy so make good footwear choices. Despite the Werkema pedigree as lifeguards, we will not be diving in after any fallers.
The littler ones are welcome at all events. Bar staff will not be serving anyone who can’t see over the counter (UK drinking age: 18).
Who knows! It could go either way. For those PNW-ers, climate is very similar to Seattle throughout the year. We are hoping for a pleasant, sunny weekend (75F / 22C). Thoughts and prayers to the effect appreciated. It gets cooler in the evening, and rain is always a possibility.
Lots. Be nice. It's not their fault.
The UK is largely a cashless society. We recommend contactless cards or mobile wallets. You may need cash for the odd kebab man.
Despite the name, this is somewhat a misnomer. Splitting the G is getting the white and black line of a Guinness between the bottom of the harp and the top of the letters of the logo on your first sip.
