Evan: Vania and I had our first date in 2017, and while I was supposed to give it a few days afterwards to text her I couldn't wait. Several dates later in short succession and we became inseparable. Over the past 8 years we've built our life together in the Richmond District in San Francisco with our cat Taro. Between our daily walks to the grocery store on Clement St, weekend picnics in the Botanical Garden, and drives to Ocean Beach, we love our community and are excited to share our wedding with you here. Vania: Few people know this, but Evan and I had our first date on my birthday. I hesitated when he asked me out for drinks, I didn't want to be the weirdo going on a first date on my birthday, but I said yes because I knew if we rescheduled I would have chickened out. I'm glad I took a chance that night, it's the best birthday gift I've ever given myself. Looking back at how far we've come, as individuals and as partners, I know that we were only able to go the distance with the love, safety, support, and curiosity we've given each other. Now, I'm so excited to have our friends and family celebrate with us as we set a very special mile marker in our journey together.
