Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

What should I wear?

Answer

We’re going with a dressy casual vibe for our big day! That means you’ll want to look polished but still feel comfortable. For women, dresses, skirts, or nice pants with a blouse are perfect. Heels, dressy sandals, or flats are all great choice. Keep in mind that the ceremony is outdoors, so we recommend avoiding stilettos or anything that might sink into the grass. For men, slacks or chinos with a button-down or polo will work nicely. Jackets are welcome but not required, and you can skip the tie if you’d like! Please steer clear of overly casual items like t-shirts, ripped jeans, or gym sneakers. And a gentle reminder: no white, please—that’s reserved for the bride! We want everyone to look great and feel even better, so don’t be afraid to show off your style with color, texture, or fun accessories. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Will you be staying at Edgefield too?

We’ll be staying at Edgefield from Thursday through Sunday afternoon and would love to spend time with you throughout the weekend! When we’re not tied up with wedding prep, we’ll be wandering the property—grabbing drinks, soaking in the pool, or just relaxing. If you're around, come find us and say hi—we’d love to hang out!

What is the wedding itinerary?

Our wedding will take place at 5 pm on 7/12/2025. The ceremony will begin at 5:15 pm sharp, followed by a cocktail hour and reception in Blackberry Hall. Our reception will end at 10:30 pm.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you’d like to give a gift, we’d be incredibly grateful for a contribution to our honeymoon fund. We’re looking forward to creating unforgettable memories together, and your gift will help make those experiences even more special. Our registry has a range of activities you can contribute towards and can be found below. Additionally, a wedding card box will be available at our reception. Will the wedding be inside or outside?

The wedding will be held outside in the courtyard garden by Blackberry Hall. The reception will be held indoors with standing room space on the patio outside.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Parking at McMenamins Edgefield is limited, but it is free! We encourage guests to arrive early to ensure you are able to find parking and get situated before the ceremony. There are multiple parking lots with the closest parking being in the lot outside of Blackberry Hall. Alternatively, there is parking surrounding the front entrance to the hotel.
