The Day We Met
It all started on a sunny July 11, 2013, at Huntington Beach. It was 7-Eleven Day and Aaron’s cousin Taylor’s birthday. The group had gathered to celebrate not only the birthday but also Taylor’s high school graduation—she and Patricia had gone to La Salle High School in Pasadena together. Patricia wasn’t officially invited, but a friend brought her along. Meanwhile, Aaron—well-loved by his family—was running late, as usual. The two ended up in separate cars to the beach. Patricia’s car made a Slurpee stop; Aaron’s did not. But fate had other plans. The First Hello Before the group settled in on the sand, everyone paused near the restrooms—and that’s where Aaron first approached Patricia. She wasn’t exactly thrilled. She’d already heard about him on the car ride over—flirty, charming, everyone thought he was cute. She wasn’t buying into the hype. But Aaron struck up a conversation anyway. He offered to help her watch her friends’ bags (she declined), and she cautiously offered to hold his in return (he joked that he’d just wear it—he’s a boy, after all). There was a quiet spark—subtle, unexpected. The Turning Point The beach day unfolded like any other: water, sand, snacks. But as Aaron returned to sneak a few Sour Patch Kids from Patricia’s stash, something shifted. He lingered. She placed shells in his hair. Other girls tried to steal his attention, but he kept returning to her. When the sun dipped low, Patricia invited him to a kickback. Aaron chose to ride with her instead of his original crew. As DJ, he played “M+M’s” by Blink-182. Patricia was the only one dancing in the car. She took notice—this guy had taste. The Beginning of Forever He drove her to the kickback, lent her his hoodie, and stopped for a soda. That night, he kissed her. She thought it might be a fleeting moment, until he stole her phone and wouldn’t give it back without her number. From there, a deep friendship formed—dates, long talks, and years of growth. It wasn’t always simple. He talked about other relationships; she stayed by his side as a friend. The connection never faded. Patricia knew within a day: this was her person. She told her friends, “I’m going to marry that boy.” It took Aaron six years to realize he was in love—and another six to know he never wanted to be without her.

Eternally Yours is more than a theme—it’s a promise rooted in love that transcends time. We’re getting married on Día de los Muertos, a cherished Mexican tradition where it’s believed that those we’ve loved and lost return to visit us for the night. It’s a time to remember, to honor, and to feel their presence. Just as we’ve always found our way back to each other over the years, we believe that love—true love—doesn’t end. Not even with death. It carries on, deep and unwavering, in this life and the next. Our vow isn’t until death do us part… it’s eternally yours.

We ask that no Black, White, Plum Purple, or Burgundy as these are colors are reserved for our wedding party. Other shades are acceptable (example: Grey, lavender, Pink, etc.).

What’s the best airport or travel route to the venue?
Answer
For those flying in, your journey to love begins in the skies. The closest airport with major airline access is Ontario International Airport (ONT), about an hour from Temecula and a scenic drive through Southern California wine country. If you’re arriving via LAX, expect around a 1 hour and 25 minute drive—perfect for settling into the California spirit before the celebration. Both routes lead straight to Callaway Vineyard & Winery, where love and laughter await.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony will take place outdoors on a lush green lawn, surrounded by nature and open skies—a perfect setting to say forever. Following that, cocktail hour will be held on a covered terrace with a smooth stone floor and panoramic vineyard views—an elegant moment to sip, savor, and soak in the scenery. As the sun sets, we’ll move inside to the reception, set in an intimate barrel room where candlelight and celebration will carry us through the night.

Even if miles keep us apart, your love is felt deeply in our hearts. We’ll be sharing photos and videos so you can witness the joy and magic of the day as if you were right there beside us. And when life settles and the world slows down just a bit, we’ll find a moment to raise a glass and celebrate together—whether near or far. Soon, we’ll also be traveling to México to celebrate with our extended family, bringing a little piece of this love story to everyone who couldn’t make the journey. No matter the distance, you are eternally a part of this chapter in our lives.
