Our Story
Confiding in a best friend led to the connection of two believers - Esther and Jide. The two were long distance for a while, as Jide lived in Texas and Esther in Maryland. They texted, talked on the phone, had a few video calls and plenty of Netflix parties. Finally, they officially met in person in January of 2022 on a date to P.F. Chang's at Columbia Mall. Shortly after, Jide left for Texas and returned to Maryland in May of 2022 and the two went on a series of dates, building a friendship and deepening the connection. The two officially began dating/courting on May 24, 2022. Esther and Jide quickly realized that God had used their close friend to facilitate the start of one of the most seamless and beautiful love stories. Their connection was quite effortless and genuine. Jide decided to set the relationship up for success and stay in Maryland for a couple of months from October 2022 to February 2023. By the grace of God, the two got engaged in November of 2023, and were legally joined together during an intimate civil ceremony on March 15th, 2024. The wedding ceremony and traditional engagement on September 11, 2025 will be a celebration of their beautiful union.

Where can I park at the venue?
Answer
There is a parking lot directly in front of the venue upon arrival. If parking is full in front of the venue, guests have parallel parking available along Main St.
Question
Do I need an invitation to attend the festivities?
Answer
Yes, the festivities are by invite only, we ask that this request be respected to maintain proper guest count according to the venue and preparations made for invited guests.

What are the order of events?
Answer
Order of events will be provided on the day of, but for white ceremony and traditional engagement, the wedding will take place first, then the traditional will follow later in the order of events.

If registry items can no longer be purchased, can I bring other gifts?
Answer
Yes, please feel free to bring other gifts you're comfortable with. We appreciate any gift offered!

Can I attend one of the festivities or must attend both?
Answer
We would be grateful if our guest attend both portions of the festivities, we have prepared ahead of time to ensure that events stay to time and that the experience is light and enjoyable for all our guests!
