Arriving to Mexico City

If possible, we suggest arriving at Mexico City International Airport on Wednesday, the 27th, or Thursday, the 28th, to make the most of your stay. As you will see further down, the bride's father, Alejandro, would like to take you on a visit to Tepoztlan and Mexico's Garden before the wedding. Direct flights from Toronto or Montreal to Mexico City are available (6hrs). We have tracked the prices and until May 1st, round-trip tickets were priced at $1,200, which is higher than usual. However, prices recently lowered to $900, closer to the normal price. There might be a further price decrease over the summer, possibly reaching around $750-850. Surprisingly, a cost-effective option is to initially fly directly to Puerto Vallarta (6 hrs) and then book a separate ticket from there to Mexico City (1h45). With the recent introduction of direct flights to Puerto Vallarta, prices are lower, $650 to get to Puerto Vallarta and $100 to Mexico City, for a total of $750. The prices of the direct flight to Puerto Vallarta are also expected to decrease throughout the summer to reach 450$. Why not enjoy some days at the beach while you are there? You can track the prices with Google Flight to be notified when the prices go down. Our recommendation is to buy the tickets throughout the summer or fall.
