We wanted to give you a better idea of what to expect on our special day. We know "hiking" can mean a wide variety of things...20 miles up to Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, reaching an elevation of 10,834ft at San Jacinto Peak, the 1 mile oceanside trail at Mullens Head on North Haven. Our "hike" to the ceremony location is .5 mile out and .5 mile back, with the possibility of adding on the lake loop (total 2 miles, mostly flat carriage road). The two right pictures above are of the carriage road trails. Take this into consideration when choosing your footwear!

Travel Note

Sam's Point Hike

This hike, which is a possibility for later in the afternoon, after lunch, is a little more involved. The hike to the view point includes some stairs, but is rather short and, we think, so worth the effort! The pictures above on the left are of the more challenging trail section to the ice caves. We would recommend a change of clothes and sneakers or hiking boots.
