Some love stories begin with an instant spark or a dramatic realization, while others take time to unfold. For Ernest and Caryl, their story was tenderly and intentionally crafted by God, blossoming in His perfect timing. Their friendship began three years ago, when they met through a mutual friend. At the time, their lives were on different paths. Their interactions were simple—warm exchanges of “Hello, how are you?” and thoughtful occasional messages during the holidays and festive seasons during the year. It was a friendship built on mutual respect—no romantic inclination, just friendship. Yet, God was at work. During this time, both Ernest and Caryl were in prayer, seeking God’s guidance for their future spouses. In His wisdom, God was preparing them separately yet simultaneously for the love story He had ordained. For a season, Ernest walked through a journey of healing, choosing solitude as God led him through a time of cleansing, restoration, and renewal. He surrendered fully to God, allowing God to prepare his heart for something greater. Ernest describes this as his Eden experience a sacred process of transformation. Just as God placed Adam in a perfected garden, He took His time with Ernest, refining him, reshaping him, and when the time was right, placed him in his own Eden his divine environment. At the same time, Caryl was also in her own season of preparation, trusting in God’s timing for the one He had chosen for her. Then, in February of this year, destiny called. A simple phone call rekindled the connection between Ernest and Caryl. Ernest, being the gentleman, invited Caryl to dinner on February 13th at the breathtaking Silversands Beach House in Grenada. The evening was nothing short of magical, with gentle ocean breezes, laughter that flowed effortlessly and conversations that felt like home. This time, Ernest saw Caryl differently. No longer just a familiar face or a passing conversation, but a woman of virtue, grace, and strength. A woman of stature, kindness, and unwavering faith. It was as if, in Eden, his eyes had been divinely opened to recognize the blessing that had been before him all along. And in that sacred place, there was no doubt—there was only one woman meant for him, and that was Caryl. Excitement grew, and one dinner turned into another, then a third, within two weeks. A spark was ignited, and before they knew it, it burst into flames of overwhelming love. Their hearts quickly aligned, and their souls recognized what had been divinely set in motion long before they even realized it. In an undeniable act of love and commitment, Ernest made a journey to Sugar Land, Texas, to meet Caryl’s family. It was a moment of affirmation and a step toward forever. One month later, their love story reached a new milestone—they got engaged! Now, with hearts overflowing with gratitude and excitement, they are preparing to say "I do" on July 13, 2025, the day they will officially begin their journey together as husband and wife. Theirs is a love anchored in Christ 💕⚓ and Guided by His Grace. ✨🙏🏽 They can’t wait to celebrate this beautiful chapter with you! With Love,
Ernest & Caryl.
