There are many accommodations on the island of Oahu. The Waikiki area is approximately 25 miles from the venue and will have the most hotel options. The closest accommodation to the venue is Paradise Bay Resort which is 6 miles from the venue. On the North Shore there is a Courtyard Marriott that is 12 miles from the venue. Another good option on the North Shore is the Turtle Bay Resort area which has privately owned condos and a hotel that is 20 miles from the venue. You can also find privately owned units through VRBO and AirBnB which may have different rates/fees. Please feel free to choose whichever is best for you.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be in a tent.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Coming at the tail end of winter, March temperatures are mild in Hawaii, mostly hovering in the 70s. March is the final month of rainy season in Hawaii so while we pray for a sunny day, be prepared for scattered showers. Our venue is on the rainier side of the island.

There is plenty of free parking near our venue site, Paliku Gardens, at Kualoa Ranch.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We invite you to come celebrate with us in Cocktail attire or Nepali formal attire. If you choose to go with Nepali attire, Lehenga and Sari are recommended for the ladies. For the men, Kurta/Daura Suruwal are recommended. The ceremony and reception will be on grass so plan accordingly for shoe choices. Chunky heels or sandals are recommended for the ladies.
