We met while both working at Nordstrom in Las Vegas, NV in 2019. Nikohl was new to Las Vegas and landed a job at Nordstrom with her fashion merchandising degree. While Erin had grown with the company over the last 5 years. We had mutual friends/ co-workers who statically invited us out to the same after work hangouts in hopes we would hit it off! We had an unexplainable connection and a need to continue to know each others hearts and once our souls found each other, they weren't letting go.

Nikohl had thought out the perfect proposal to surprise Erin with in December of 2023. She took Erin and a few close friends and family to the River of lights which is a Christmas light display at the Botanical Gardens. We walked the path of lights until she saw a pair of decorated swans in the pond and decided to drop to one knee and pop the question right there. Swans mate for life and symbolically that was the perfect display to ask the big question next to. Of course Erin said YES and FINALLY and here we are planning the rest of forever by one another's sides.
