Our Love Story Erin and Leeza met on January 27, 2024, in a dance studio—so from the very beginning, they knew they shared a love for movement, music, and creativity. What started as a shared passion for dance soon turned into something much deeper. By April, Leeza realized she was developing strong feelings for Erin, though she wasn’t sure if Erin felt the same. Over the summer, while Erin was away in New York, they began talking more outside of the studio. Long conversations turned into the sharing of poems, life stories, and vulnerabilities, creating a bond that continued to grow even across the distance. In September, Erin invited Leeza to the State Fair after attending a church service together at The Well earlier that day. Erin was so excited about the plans that she accidentally got ready at 11 PM the night before instead of 11 AM the next morning. Soon after, they attended RDT’s dance performance together—and from that point on, they were almost inseparable. In November, life took an unexpected turn when Erin was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and prepared to move back home to Denver. The future suddenly felt uncertain, and Erin tried to prepare Leeza for the possibility that a relationship might not be in the cards. But their love had other plans. Through long-distance visits, constant communication, and unwavering support, Erin and Leeza discovered just how strong their connection truly was. That season taught them the importance of communication, what truly matters in life, and that love is always worth fighting for. On September 26, 2025, Leeza proposed in Utah. Just a few weeks later, on October 20, 2025, Erin proposed at Disneyland. Two proposals, one love story. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their marriage on September 28, 2026, surrounded by the people they love most. Their journey together has already been filled with resilience, joy, and deep love—and they are so excited to see what the future holds as they continue dancing through life side by side.

Both Erin and Leeza performed with the same contemporary dance company. Fun fact, they did three productions together, and in two of them, they were moral enemies.
Leeza's ex-husband tried hitting on Erin at the bar, so Leeza asked Erin to be her fake girlfriend, and the rest is history.
We'll post our registry here when we're finished building it. Thank you in advance!
