We would be absolutely tickled if you could join us for an intimate weekend in the Columbia River Gorge for White Water Rafting and a Tasting Menu at the lovely, Votum Restaurant. The towns of Hood River, OR and White Salmon, WA are magic, with hidden vineyards, hikes to waterfalls, hand-picked lavender and hydrofoiling (?)!
1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Getting into town early? Join us for an easy breezy glass of wine on Friday afternoon!
8:30 am - 1:00 pm
Choose your own adventure for the weekend! Not an outdoorsy guy/gal, but love multi-course meals with small portions? Then skip the rapids, and we will see you at dinner! Or do you thrive being in an inflatable boat, but loathe long formal meals? Then feel free to pass on dinner and jump into our raft on the White Salmon River!
Love Both? Awesome! Any which way- we would love to see you! And if you're totally and completely over Eric and I, we get it! No worries! We'll see ya at the 10 year! White water rafting the White Salmon River is a 3.5 - 4 hour trip with Class 3 and Class 4 Rapids. Please RSVP with the number of family members ready to party. Beginners welcome! BTW, you will get wet!! :) Zoller's is 20 minutes north of Hood River. Please arrive at 8:45am in order to sign waivers and collect your gear. What to wear? A bathing suit or polyester work out clothes! Cotton is not recommended, as it traps in water. A wet suit will be provided. A spare change of clothes for after is also a good idea! Restrooms and changing rooms available on property. We will have some sandwiches ready for after the trip! * Rafting is Not recommended for those with recent surgeries or heart conditions.
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
I wish I was ashamed to say, that I'm a famous visiter of Votum Restaurant- mainly for crashing their white table cloth restaurant with my sister after hours, and then surprise bombarding them with my husband, a year later. Can't wait for Chef Sarah to find out I plan on coming back for Year 3, but with even more friends! Please let us know of any dietary restrictions in advance. As the Tasting Menu will take a few hours, dinner is an adults-only affair. Cocktail attire for women. Sport coat, no tie, for men. ICYMI, Votum's Chef Sarah Doyle was featured in the New York Times for one of the Best Desserts of 2025.
Please enter the first and last name of one member of your party below.
If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
