We got married 10/20/24.....Version 2.0! We have decided to cancel the reception, but are enjoying married life!

They met back in 2004 when Jenny was a senior at St. Ben's and Eric at St. Cloud State. It was an instant connection and in July 2005 they became engaged. On 10/07/2006 they were married. Struggles transpired however, and they were ill equipped to navigate them. They divorced in 2009. Fast forward almost fifteen years to 10/25/2023 when Jenny reached out to Eric over Facebook after all those years of no communication. Conversations were easy from the beginning of that reunion and in December of 2023 Jenny ventured from her home in St. Joseph, MN to visit Eric where he had settled in St. Louis, MO and the two saw each other for the first time in a decade and a half. It was incredible. Eric came up to visit Jenny in February of 2024 and the trips back and forth continued. At the end of June 2024, Eric came up and met Jenny and her daughter Lauren in Chatfield, MN for a softball tournament. It was after that tournament that Eric proposed to Jenny on the rooftop deck of the coolest Airbnb. As Jenny recalls, "it was like a dream come true". Not wanting to wait to prepare a big wedding including a reception, Eric and Jenny got married in a small, intimate ceremony less than four months later on 10/20/2024. It was a beautiful day and everything that they had dreamed of. Eric was fortunate to have his employer grant him ability to work remotely from MN and Eric moved into Jenny's home in St. Joe. To celebrate with Eric's family, friends, and colleagues from Missouri, the couple ventured to St. Louis on March 22, 2025 for a dinner reception. They just made the decision to cancel the St. Joseph reception originally planned for August 9th, but are very happily married. We hope to see each of you soon!
