Our Story
Chad and Eric’s story began the way many modern love stories do—on a dating app. At the time, Eric was attending the University of Texas, and Chad was just beginning his journey at Apple. What started as a simple connection at the end of 2019 slowly grew into something much deeper. They took their time getting to know each other, letting their relationship grow naturally before officially starting to date on January 2, 2021. Before long, it became clear that what they had was something special. What began slowly quickly turned into a deep partnership filled with laughter, support, and a shared life. Over the years, they’ve built a life that feels very “them.” They bought their first home together and grew their little family to include seven beloved fur babies, who keep things lively and remind them every day how full their home is with love. On June 18, 2025, Chad proposed to Eric in a moment that was simple, intimate, and perfectly them. Later that year, on December 22, 2025, Eric returned the gesture and proposed to Chad. Both proposals were sweet, meaningful, and reflected the kind of love they share—thoughtful, genuine, and rooted in the quiet moments that matter most. Now, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them, Chad and Eric are excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story. They’re so grateful for the love and support that has brought them here and can’t wait to celebrate with you.
