How do I get into the venue?

Homestead on the Roof is a cozy, secret rooftop tucked away above Roots Handmade Pizza in the heart of West Town, located at 1924 W Chicago Avenue. You will need to enter Roots and go up the stairs. Please ask a Roots employee if you are having trouble finding your way upstairs!

The party will start immediately at 6:00PM with cocktail hour!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Think LBDs, short/midi/long dresses, dressy jumpsuits, sports jackets (ties optional) and slacks, suits, etc. Have fun with it! ;)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is street parking, but we do recommend using public transit or ride share lifts. Please reach out if more information is needed.

Is the venue outdoors? Is there a plan if there's inclement weather?

Answer

There is a rooftop with limited covering, as well as an indoor space. The bar is located inside, and we will be eating indoors, but cocktail hour and dancing will be on the rooftop. If it rains, we will move indoors!

What kind of food and drink will be served?

Answer

We will have an open bar with liquor, beer and wine. N/A options will be available as well. Cocktail hour will have charcuterie, cheeseboard and appetizers. For dinner, there will be a pasta station, caesar salad station, and a pig roast (just like Elvis had!) Please reach out if you have any food allergies we need to be aware of.
