Manny and Bri met at Rowan University in 2016, through a Christian club called New Life and became apart of the same friend group where they will often hangout together. When Bri graduated in 2017, she went back home in North Jersey while Emmanuel stayed at Rowan to finish his Studies, graduating in 2021. Although, Bri and Manny was not in school together anymore, they stayed in contact occasionally by texting and catching up and seeing one another a couple of times. During that time they were just friends and didn’t know that they will become more then friends in 2022. That same year, they reconnected after not seeing each other in a while and a romantic interest between them sparked through hanging out and conversations. Manny was very careful in his approach to Bri before expressing his feelings for her and Bri was the same way. They start courting on July 14,2022, thank God for hearing their prayers and bringing them together.

Manny proposed to Brianda during his birthday dinner at his parents house. He invited close friends and family! Manny surprised Bri in the kitchen by getting on one knee behind Bri as she was preparing a plate to take home. When Bri turned around Manny was on one knee! Bri was surprised but knew this day was after having many conversations with him. It was a joyous time and a time that they will never forget.
