The wedding will take place from 7pm until late in a house in Huetor Santillán, which is a small town located approximately 8 miles from the center of town. How should I get to the wedding location and back? ¿Cómo debo llegar y como puedo volver a Granada?

Answer

Two busses will take everyone to the party. The pick up will be in front of the Hotel Granada Center ( Av. de Fuente Nueva, s/n, Centro, 18002 Granada) at 6 pm. To take guests back, there will shuttles at 12:30 am, 1:30 am, and 3 am. The shuttles will leave you at that same location, Hotel Granada Center. From there, you can Uber or take a taxi back to your lodging. Hemos contratado dos buses para que lleven a todos los invitados desde Granada capital, dado que apenas hay sitio para aparcar. La recogida es a las 6pm en frente del Hotel Granada Center (Av. de Fuente Nueva, s/n, Centro, 18002 Granada). Para volver, estará disponible un bus en tres horarios: a las 12:30am, a las 1:30am, y a las 3am de la madrugada. Os dejará en el Hotel Granada Center también.

Update: The day of the wedding the temp will range from 26C (78 F) at around 6-7 pm, to 13C (55 F) at around midnight, so make sure to have a jacket with you for the latter part of the night! Whatever you’d like! Austin and I will dress up, and the party will be very colorful- we recommend that you dress up in a way that makes you feel comfortable. The entrance to the house is a steep short road made of dirt, so we do not recommend wearing stilettos or delicate shoes, and if you do, be sure to bring an extra pair of flats to change into. Lo que te apetezca, pero avisamos de que el suelo es variado- tierra, grama, piedra… así que no recomendamos tacones finos. La temperatura va a variar desde 26 C por la tarde a 13 C hacia la media noche, así que traed una chaqueta para el frío!

The entrance to the house is a steep dirt road with 2-3 tall stone steps. In the house there are two short single steps, three large stone steps to access a grassy area, and about 12 stone steps to acceess a second floor (we don't expect to use that second area). The party will take place outdoors, there will be seating, and places to lay down both indoors and outdoors. Al llegar a la casa hay dos escalones de piedra y una cuesta de tierra.
