Our Story
Welcome to our wedding website! We’re so excited to share our day with you! Apparently you are supposed to “insert the loving story of how you met” here, however, as most of you already know we met eight years ago in the first month of college and we’ve been in love and annoying each other ever since! Really this whole marriage thing is a formality because we’ve been acting like a married couple since 2016! Throughout our years together, we’ve met so many incredible people who have shaped our lives, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. We’re always on the move, love a change of plan and we’ve got to keep you on your toes, so it only felt right to plan our whirlwind wedding in just six months. We understand some people may already have prior commitments but if not we would love for you to join us on our wedding day!

Question
When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
To help us with our planning, we ask that you kindly RSVP by December 15th 2024 using the tab on the website. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend.

What time do I need to be at the Ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 2pm so please make sure you are at the venue with plenty of time to take your seat, we suggest around 45 - 30 minutes before the start time of 2pm.

What should I wear?
Answer
We’d love to see all our friends and family dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal but let’s avoid white ladies & please note the bridal party will be in shades of Blue.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate additional guests, all those invited will be addressed on the invite.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a night off and enjoy the celebrations!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
How long is a piece of string? It’s Devon in April so prepare for it all. There will be lots of indoor and outdoor space for all weather conditions.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones during the ceremony?
Answer
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. Once the ceremony is over we encourage you to take lots of photos!

How will food and drinks be served?
Answer
Good food is obviously very important and we have decided on giant charcuterie boards for the main alongside wood fired pizza for the evening.

Is there a gift registry?
Answer
The most important gift is having you share our day, But if you wish to contribute in some other way, we would love a few pennies to put in our pot, for our honeymoon trip after tying the knot.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Unfortunately Josh has no more organs left to sell in order to fund an open bar, however there will be lots of table wine/drinks & a few more for the evening.

Okehampton Train Station
Okehampton Train Station is well connect to Exeter Station which is one of the main stations for the South West. Okehampton is around 20 minutes from the venue and has a range of accommodation options.

Newquay Airport
There are some flights into Newquay airport but these vary depending on where you are flying from. If you are travelling from further up north this might be a good option!
