We hope you can join us in Dildo, Newfoundland, to celebrate our wedding. We can’t imagine a more beautiful place to gather than by the ocean in one of Newfoundland’s most charming communities. From the very beginning, we knew we wanted our wedding to feel like us. If you know us, you know how much we love being outdoors and how much we cherish great food, good drinks, and music, all shared with the people we love most. So that’s exactly what we’ve planned. The celebration will flow between the garden, an event tent, and the Barn Café.

Reception style garden party with food, drinks, games, live music and lots of dancing. Dinner will be buffet style with no assigned seating.

Travel

Dildo is a 1 hour drive from St. John's. If you wish to drive to and from the wedding, there will be parking on site. We will have a taxi that can drive people to their accommodation at the end of the evening. If you are in need of a ride to and from Dildo, please coordinate with us.

Accommodation

There are lots of accommodation options in Dildo through Airbnb/VRBO, or local B&B's. Some B&B options are: Boathouse Inn George House Heritage Inn by The Bay No Charge for The View There will be room for a small number of campers and tents at Dildo South Park, however there is no hookup for power, sewer or water. There will be a toilet available. If you are in need of accommodation suggestions in St. John's, please reach out to us.

What do I wear?

Answer

Summer wedding attire that you feel comfortable in. Keeping in mind you will be outside all day/in a tent, and you will be standing on grass. Bring a warm layer for later in the evening.
