It was Friday, March 12, 2021 and Miles was in Puerto Rico celebrating his birthday with his guys and I was on a girls trip celebrating my besties birthday. Me and my girls had planned our trip just earlier that week and come to find out the guys had booked their flight last minute too. (Safe to say, God had a plan for us). I was looking for food and hookah, not a husband and i'm sure Miles was looking for a good time, not a wife lol he approached me and said "what's wrong with you" as I stood there with an attitude, I said " I just want some hookah". So what did he do next? He got me food, drinks AND hookah. He was so sweet and hospitible like a real old school, down south, country man. We spent the rest of the week with him and his friends and we've been inseparable since. I went home to Virginia and he went back to Atlanta, after a couple weekend visits we decided to make it official! It has been such a journey loving each other and blending our family BUT we wouldn't have it any other way. We're so thankful for what God has in store for us and we're excited to celebrate our four year anniversary and tie the knot!
