It all began on the campus of Western Michigan University in 2019. We were just two students in the same friend group, slowly becoming inseparable without even realizing it. On March 13, 2020, we officially became a couple--just as the world was turning upside down. Within a week, campus shut down and everyone was sent home... but fate had other plans. It turned out we lived only 30 minutes apart. That unexpected twist led to a summer of late-night drives, spontaneous hangouts, and falling deeper in love under the stars. When school resumed, we stayed just as close--and by fall 2021, we moved in together. Through the chaos of college life, Max became my calm. Whenever I (Elvedina) spiraled over tests or deadlines, he was always there with steady support and a reassuring smile. After graduation in June 2023, Max whisked me away on a celebratory trip to Phoenix, Arizona. On our first full day, we hiked Camelback Mountain, soaking in the views and each other. As we reached the top and paused for a photo, I turned around to find Max on one knee, asking me to spend forever with him. Almost five years, countless memories, and one beautiful "yes" later--we're so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with you.
