Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire for the wedding is requested.

Question

How do I obtain or renew my passport?

Answer

How to obtain: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport.html How to renew: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport.html We recommend ordering your passport well in advance of the wedding in the event of delays. Some countries require that your passport have six months validity beyond the dates of your trip. Ireland is not one of those countries. There is no minimum passport validity requirement for U.S. citizens entering Ireland. If you are traveling elsewhere in Europe before or after the wedding, however, you will want to check what the validity requirement is as you may have to renew your passport if it expires within six months after your travel dates.

Question

What currency is used in Ireland?

Answer

The currency used in Ireland is the Euro. You can exchange US Dollars prior to arriving in Ireland, which is what we recommend, or you can exchange US Dollars at the airport in Ireland. Usually exchanging at the airport is not recommended as the exchange rate is higher. You can also try to find an ATM to get Euros once you are in Ireland, but ATMs can be difficult to find and use. Credit cards are widely accepted throughout Ireland, just let your bank know that you are traveling internationally before you head to Ireland!

Question

Is the bride changing her last name?

Answer

No, she is following in the footsteps of her mom and keeping her last name.
