I don't see a ceremony mentioned on the schedule. Why?

We are getting married in a private ceremony at the courthouse (more our vibe!) a few weeks prior, and will be treating this weekend as a celebration of marriage. The event on October 24th basically serves as a cocktail hour and wedding reception. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!

Where Should I Stay?

Answer

On the Travel page we have listed hotels that are located closest to our venue, but there is a plethora of affordable hotels and air bnbs all over Mission Beach/Pacific Beach areas. A short uber ride away, there are additional hotels in Mission Valley and Old Town. You can also look for airbnbs in the North Park/Normal Heights/Univeristy Heights neighborhoods (where we currently live). Those would be about a 15 minute uber ride away from the venue. Can I bring my kids?

Answer

The only children allowed at the wedding will be children of immediate family members (children of siblings of the bride and groom).

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

We wish we could invite everyone, but due to venue capacity we can only allow a certain number of guests. Your invitation should specify whether or not you have a plus one. Thank you for understanding!

How should I get to the welcome party and venue

Answer

Both are in very central, but BUSY locations in San Diego. While there is a public parking lot adjacent to the venue, space on weekends may be limited. To be safe, we do prefer that guests arrive via taxi or ride share like Uber or Lyft.

What will the weather be like in San Diego?

Answer

October is one of the best months in San Diego, the weather is still warm and rain is highly unlikely. We are expecting a gorgeous weekend. That being said the evenings do start to get a bit chilly this time of year. So best to pack a light jacket.
