Johnny might tell you different, but I don't think either of us were prepared for falling in love with someone as hard as we fell for each other. He made me laugh so much the first day, I told my friends that night that I was going to marry him. It's something entirely magical being with someone who loves the same things as you, who loves people like you do, who loves dancing with you, and who ruins their sleep schedule for you. We are both parents first - something I reminded him of a million times the first few months ("don't forget, I have FOUR kids" never scared him off), but balancing moments of dating like teenagers and enjoying life together as best friends is what makes us so special. Can't wait to say our vows to each other in front of the most precious people in our lives. Elizabeth was certain she won the award for fastest to decide she was going to marry someone that first night she told her best friend. Little did she know I won that award from the moment I laid my eyes on her. In life there is so much love. The love of your parents, the love of your siblings, aunts, uncles, kids, etc. But the love you choose and chooses you is different. It takes two people who WANT to choose each other. Two people who want to grow together. Two people who complement each other. Two people that are willing to be 50/50 or 90 if the other is at 10. Two people that are willing to be patient.
