How we met
Donny and Elizabeth definitely did the millennial thing and met online. After matching and sending a few messages back and forth, Donny invited Elizabeth to meet for a casual dinner and drinks at the beach bar, Coco's on the Beach. Since this bar was inside the premise of the where the Benza family condo is at, Donny needed to make a pass for her to enter and park. Being nervous about asking for Elizabeth's last name too soon, Donny made up a last name of "Bullwinkle" for her pass. She was able to fake her name with flying colors but later explained to him how nervous she was telling them a false name. They had some really nice conversations including about where twisty ties come from (Seriously, where do they make all those things?) while walking on the beach after dinner. Donny walked her to her car and kissed her good night. The rest is history!

Am I allowed to bring my child?
Answer
Yes children are allowed. There is a playground on premise of the venue in addition to a beachy area to walk on. Please let us know if you plan on bringing a high-chair or booster seat for your child or if this is something you need.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal to formal attire is welcomed. The wedding venue is outdoors with the reception being both indoor and outdoor. For women, light and breathable fabrics with comfortable shoes are recommended. There is artificial grass, beach sand, and a sidewalk on premise so stilettos may not be ideal. For men, lightweight pants such as khakis and linen are recommended in addition to closed toe shoes.

How do I enter the property?
Answer
Upon receipt of your RSVP, we will make one day passes valid for your entry into the neighborhood. Please tell security guards that you are attending the "Benza-Hickman Wedding". There are 2 gates to enter Hilton Head Plantation (Main gate and Cypress gate). Either works fine. Please have photo ID ready when approaching guard house. Guest entry will be at the left most gate at both Main and Cypress gates.

What will be served for dinner?
Answer
Dinner will be served in a buffet style. The buffet will consist of BBQ and low country boil with additional sides.
