We met on the first day of my, Leaja, first day of middle school when I first moved to Virginia! I was being toured by another student, and she says to me, "You have to see this extremely H.O.T guy!" Younger me was so ecstatic! I was ready, firing up, roaring to go see this extremely tall, dark, and handsome guy. She grabs my arm, takes me to the gym, and low and behold a 5'2 skinny boy with glasses in a graphic t-shirt. I was in love. We met on her first day of middle school. To me, it was just like any other day. I woke up and dragged myself out of bed, got ready, and headed off to school not knowing what I was about to get into. Early in the morning the real wake-up call was one of my friends attempting to introduce me to the new girl in school. There she was, about 3 foot nothing, in a school uniform and the first words that she ever spoke to me was "Wow you're uglier than I expected". Harsh I know, but here we are now. That comment sparked a rivalry, which quickly evolved into a friendship, to now knowing I get to spend my life with the girl I fell hard for.
