Dinner will be a southern-style buffet (Mac n cheese, brisket, BBQ chicken, baked beans, etc.) More information will be added closer to the date. Officiant
Emma and Elaine have been best friends since the 4th grade. As the one who introduced the couple (as Bradaigh's cousin), she is one of the reasons they will be at the altar this May. Elaine can't thank her enough for this and her friendship over the years, and she's glad Emma will be the one to finally get them married!
Maxwell Mansion houses the Apothecary Bar (open from 11am-midnight) and the Speakeasy (open from 9pm-midnight). Elaine and Bradaigh are planning to stop here Friday night!
A funky cocktail bar and lounge!
Lake Geneva Cheese Festival! Free admission, live bands, and food vendors. May 15-17th!
A good spot for breakfast. Elaine and Bradaigh plan to eat here on Sunday morning!
Please wear casual wedding attire. This is more like dressing up to go to a nice restaurant (no jeans, please). Follow this link for examples: https://www.zola.com/expert-advice/casual-wedding-attire-guide?msockid=06cd136d09cf6e891b01032708b16f6c The Grand Belle is enclosed and climate-controlled on both decks. However, for those joining us for celebrations after we get off the boat, you may want to bring a thin layer. Don't worry about wearing white, because Elaine won't be!
For those not staying at a hotel in downtown Lake Geneva, there are various street parking or lot options nearby. They range from being right by the harbor to a ~10-15-minute walk away. For paid parking, it's highly recommended to download the Park Mobile App. Harbor Shores guests, please note that there is 1 parking spot allotted per room. We recommend everyone carpool as much as possible! Information about paid parking: https://www.cruiselakegeneva.com/parking-directions/ Information about free parking: https://www.cityoflakegeneva.gov/255/Free-Parking-Lots-Handicap Words from the Cruise Line: "On weekends and holidays we always recommend that visitors allow plenty of extra time for traffic and parking in Lake Geneva. We can not stress this fact enough! Please plan ahead so that you do not miss your scheduled departure."
Plan to board at 6:15PM from Pier B at the Riviera Docks: 812 Wrigley Drive, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, USA. One block south of the main downtown intersections of Broad Street & Main Street (Hwy. 50). When walking up to the harbor building, walk to the right side of the building, and there will be a sign for "Boat Tour and Charters". Keep walking, and then behind the building, on the far right, you will see a sign for "Pier B" on the docks. The Grand Belle is on Pier B, the last boat on the right. The boat will depart strictly at 6:30PM, so please arrive with plenty of time to spare!
There is a bar on the Grand Belle that will provide beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages. At boarding time (before the ceremony starts), the bar will be open for the purchase of water only. A brief cocktail hour will take place between the ceremony and dinner, during which it will be a cash bar. Starting at dinner time, the bar will be open.
For ladies who need it, there is a get ready room booked all day at Harbor Shores, in suite B. Elaine will be using it in the afternoon to get ready, but welcomes anyone who needs a space to get ready, wait for the wedding to start, wants to chat, etc. This may be helpful for people who did not book a room for Saturday night. If Elaine is not there at the moment, just tell them you are in her bridal party!
If your kids are invited, they will be listed in your RSVP along with kids meal options. When deciding if your kids will join you, please consider that once the boat departs, it will not dock again until the end of the event (9:30PM).
We ask that you RSVP by Wednesday, April 1st.
