About Us
KACIE... was raised in Marysville, WA by Lawrence Jr and Kimberly Ekdahl with her three siblings: Matt, Danny and Emily. She originally went to Western Washington University to go into teaching but majored in Human Services instead. PETER... was raised in Buckley, WA by James and Catherine Moleske with his brother David. He went to Western and majored in Theatre with a Concentration in Acting.
How did it Begin?
We met in the Fall of 2015 when we both returned to Western Washington University for our second year of college. We had both been employed as Desk Attendants for our dorm on campus, Buchanan Towers, and actually lived just down the hall from each other. From sorting mail, walking to the dining hall for food and bickering over silly things together, we only knew each other for five weeks before we called it official. Now, over nine years later, we have continued to grow together post-college, through a pandemic, and are currently raising our three babies (our corgi, tortie and tabby) together. We are so excited to take the next step: getting married, with our family and friends with us on our wedding day. We hope you can join us to celebrate the life we have built together!

Semi Casual (no jeans or shorts, please)! Be prepared for sun or rain! The venue is outdoors, with the reception under the pavilion. Please be sure to bring something warmer in case it gets cool in the evening. The venue will provide outdoor patio heaters for the reception if needed.

Question
When should I RSVP by?
Answer
You can RSVP as early as you would like, but please only respond when you are positive whether or not you are able to make it to the wedding. The earlier, the better, so that we can start prepping for the big day! RSVPS are due by May 1st!
Question
Do I have a +1 to the wedding?
Answer
If not specified beforehand, or not available to add a guest during your online RSVP, please assume you do not have a +1. We are striving to make our wedding as small as possible while still being able to celebrate with friends and family close to us. For individuals traveling in from out of state, we may be able to accommodate an additional guest on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Kacie and Peter via the email listed on your invitation to discuss further.
Question
I have a Dietary Restriction or other Allergies, what should I be aware of?
Answer
As far as food, we will have vegetarian and gluten free options as the bride and a few members of the bridal party do have food restrictions. Please specify which restrictions you have when you RSVP so that we can communicate with our caterer to make sure we have enough alternative options for the buffet. Otherwise, the ceremony and reception will both be outdoors, so please be prepared for any environmental allergens. We also will have our corgi, Jojo, as our "Pup of Honor" and she will be on site. Please understand she likes to visit people and may come up to you. We will try our best to keep her away from you if you are concerned. Please keep any allergy medications on hand if needed.

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?
Answer
There will be parking on site in a grass field. Please wear appropriate footwear if it rains.
