Our Story
India and Handley met at an art summer camp in Savannah, GA. Their time together was brief but unforgettable, and what followed was a lifelong partnership that would change the direction of their lives forever. Growing up together, they drove for hours up and down I-95 just to spend a moment together. Six long years later, with high school and college behind them, they were finally able to set out and build the life they had always dreamed of together. First in Richmond, then Savannah, and finally, after 10 years of partnership, in NYC. Now, they both work as professional artists, supporting each other through life’s ups and downs and inspiring one another to keep creating. The goals they once dreamed about together as kids are slowly becoming a reality. Writing this together, we can both confidently say there isn’t a person in the world we would rather spend our time and lives with.

The Byrd Theatre is celebrated in Richmond, Virginia, and today is both a State and National Historic landmark. The 1,200-seat Byrd Theatre is named after William Byrd, one of the founders of Richmond, and is one of the nation’s finest cinema treasures. Built in the late 1920’s, the theater was opulently outfitted with the most expensive fittings and up-to-date technology. The Byrd Theatre boasts a unique auditory experience: The mighty Wurlitzer Organ. It isn’t just a decorative relic. Played by a skilled organist before most movies.

Nestled in Ginter Park and surrounded by beautiful homes from the early 1900’s, The Schoolhouse on Hawthorne has hosted many of the community's events over the years. Built in 1906 in honor of Lewis Ginter, a Richmond businessman and philanthropist.
