Travel Note
There is no specific process for crossing into Mexico, once you get to the border via car you slow down to wait for the traffic light to turn green, once it does you drive through slowly and you’re in Mexico!
Travel Note
GPS works pretty well in Rosarito, if you add the address to any of the hotels it will take you there. We will also add a video with specific directions to Rosarito. You take one scenic road all the way, it’s very simple.
Hotel
If you’re looking for one of the nicest options, I would recommend the Rosarito Beach Hotel. Very tourist friendly, and walking distance from food, shops, and the beach! It’s about $300 for the weekend for 2-4 people if you book in advance.
Hotel
This is a great option if you’d like to save some money and don’t mind an older hotel. It’s still central to the main street, shops, and food. This is around $200 or less for the weekend if you book in advance.
House Or Rental
Another great option would be renting a home for the weekend, the prices depend on the amount of people staying in the home, but they can be very affordable or luxurious, depending what you look for.
Travel Note
YOU NEED BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND ID TO CROSS BACK IF YOU DON’T HAVE A PASSPORT. If you use GPS to San Diego, it will take you to the line of cars waiting to cross the border. This is the trickiest part of the vacation! The line can take up to three hours, or range up or down from there. The busiest traffic times will cause longer lines, it worth leaving early sometimes. There will be vendors that make time go by faster, but make sure you have gas!
