The Beginning of Forever
God brought Augustine and Ebony together through Facebook Dating, leading to their first date on Labor Day weekend in 2022. They met up at The Grand Marlin on Pensacola Beach, where conversation flowed effortlessly and laughter filled the evening. Not ready for the night to end, they wandered the boardwalk hand in hand, already feeling the spark of something extraordinary. From that very moment, they knew they had found something rare and beautiful in each other. On January 31, 2025, Augustine lovingly brought their story full circle. Knowing military training would take him away for Valentine’s Day, he planned an early celebration with Ebony—recreating their very first date. After dinner at The Grand Marlin, they returned to the boardwalk where it all began. To Ebony's surprise, under the night sky, Augustine got down on one knee, professed his never-ending love, and asked Ebony to be his forever.

Yes. Semi-formal: Cocktail dresses, dressy skirts, or jumpsuits for women; suits or dress shirts with slacks and a tie for men. Think polished but not black-tie. Please note that coordinated attire is not expected of our guests. While our wedding colors are emerald green, sage, champagne, and gold, you are welcome to wear any color that suits you.
