How We Met

First comes school...

Eric and Hannah went to separate high schools, but met at the National Technical Honor Society at the technical school they both attended for separate programs. Eric was starting his culinary pursuits and Hannah was trying her hand at early childhood education. They graduated in 2017 and never thought much of their interactions. Eric went on to the Culinary Institute of America and Hannah went to Cazenovia college for fashion. In the early winter of 2021, Eric reached out to Hannah after seeing a video of her on TikTok (thank you social media). They started talking and immediately hit it off. While they didn't officially start dating until the following year, they talked almost non-stop. They spent 2021-2023 dating long distance while finishing college and working. Together they adopted their cat Squid in November 2022. They moved into their first apartment in May 2023 immediately after Hannah graduated college where she quickly adopted their second cat Miso in July. Eric moved in in October after finishing his final stint of working on Block Island, RI. Quickly after officially moving in together, they packed up and moved to NYC in January of 2024 to start a new adventure. The following month, they adopted Roux, their rambunctious pup. The remainder of their year has been filled with trying new restaurant's, visiting museums, taking Roux to the dog park, and exploring their new city. On November 3rd, Eric proposed to Hannah in their kitchen while they were making cupcakes, following their trip to the dog park. This was the best way to ensure Hannah was oblivious (it worked). Together, they are now looking at new apartments, and planning their wedding and honeymoon. They are so looking forward to celebrating with their friends and family in the best way they know how...an intimate setting, with homemade food. They can't wait to see you, and have you be a part of their love story.

FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we kindly ask all guests to wear bright colors or a pop of color! This could include florals, textures, layers... The wedding will take place mainly in grass, when choosing footwear, consider a chunky heel or flat, rather than stilettos. We are having a formal wedding, therefore we recommend floor length or tea length "garden party" dresses, dress pants and shirts, and blazers or "summer suits". For more clarification please visit the website below, specifically the Garden Party Glam section: https://www.bjonesphotos.com/blog/wedding-guest-dress-code-explained-because-wtf-is-garden-party-formal-bmw2w
