Some couples meet in a coffee shop. Others lock eyes across a crowded room. And then there’s Megann and Adam, brought together by the mildly stalkerish magic of Facebook’s “People You May Know” feature. It was a random morning, and Megann was casually scrolling when Facebook decided to suggest a profile: Justin. Now, she didn’t know Justin, but something on his page caught her eye, a video of a guy singing. And not just any guy. A guy with a voice that made her stop mid-scroll, lean in, and think, “Okay…who is this?” That’s when she saw his name. Adam. The weirdest part? They were already Facebook friends. Had been for a whole year. Neither of them had any memory of this, meaning at some point, they had both clicked "Accept" on a friend request and then…completely ignored each other. Destiny works in mysterious ways. Naturally, Megann did what any rational person would do when discovering a mysterious yet familiar internet man with the voice of an angel, she liked a few of his photos. Not too many (because, chill), but just enough to say, Hey, I see you. Meanwhile, 1,500 miles away in Oregon, Adam was still in bed when his phone started buzzing with notifications. After some high-level investigative work (a.k.a. clicking on Megann’s profile and scrolling way back), he decided to shoot his shot. At exactly 8:22 AM, Megann’s phone lit up with a message request: “Good morning, how are you doing?” That’s it. No pick-up line, no dramatic grand entrance. Just a polite, wholesome morning greeting. And yet, within 30 minutes, they were on FaceTime, talking like they’d known each other forever. For three hours straight. The only reason they hung up was because, unfortunately, capitalism demands that Megann work. But the second she was off, they were right back on FaceTime, for another three hours. That pretty much set the tone for the rest of their relationship. For two years, they did long distance, with Adam basically treating I-84 like his personal commute. That man put 100,000 miles on his car, driving back and forth between Oregon and Colorado. Très committed. Eventually, they closed the distance and made Austin their home, but sometimes they still look at each other and laugh about the whole thing. If Megann hadn’t been casually scrolling, if Justin’s page hadn’t popped up, if Adam hadn’t been in bed at that exact moment, who knows? But the universe (and Facebook) had other plans. So, thanks, Facebook. Thanks, Justin. And most importantly, thanks, Adam, for sending that fateful, “Good morning, how are you doing?”

Texas Glamour: Fancy, but make it Texas. Dress up, have fun, and don’t be afraid to add a little Western flair!
The big day is finally here, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with the people we love most! Picture this: a dreamy Texas evening filled with heartfelt vows, delicious food, and a dance floor that stays packed all night. We’re bringing together the best of both worlds, Old Hollywood elegance meets rustic Texas romance, so come ready to sip, twirl, toast, and maybe even kick up a little dust. We can’t wait to see y’all there, dressed to impress and ready to party! 💃🏽🥂 For the ladies: Floor-length or midi dresses with a touch of vintage glam. Silky fabrics, timeless silhouettes, bold colors, or soft neutrals. Feel free to add a little Western flair with statement jewelry or boots if that’s your vibe. For the gents: Suits or dressy sport coats. Polished but not too formal. Think well-fitted, classic, and a little ruggedly handsome. Ties are welcome but not required, and if you want to add some Texas charm, bring in a bolo tie or boots.
Flight
If you’re flying in for the wedding, you’ve got two airport options: San Antonio International Airport (SAT) – This is the closest airport to New Braunfels, just about a 30-minute drive away. However, flights into SAT can sometimes be pricier, so be sure to compare! Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) – A little farther at around an hour’s drive, but it often has more flight options and better prices. If you don’t mind the extra drive, it might be worth checking out! Either way, once you land, you’re just a short Texas road trip away from all the wedding weekend fun! 🚗💨

We would love for you to arrive in the morning of October 11th and departing after breakfast on October 14th

Other Options: If you’d rather skip the rental car, ride shares like Uber & Lyft operate in the area, but keep in mind that New Braunfels is more spread out, and wait times could be longer.

From the moment we saw it, we knew this was the place, a spot that feels warm, intimate, and a little bit magical. Whether you're here for the vows, the views, or just the cake (we respect it), we can’t wait to celebrate with you in this dreamy little Texas haven!
