We will be having an evening ceremony followed by a cocktail-style reception with passed bites and food stations. The dance floor will be open for business after a quick bite to eat; we are so excited to celebrate with you!

Riel is coming to Canada! Victoria's sister moved to the U.K. in 2022, and married Brett last year (with a surprise appearance from her sister!). The newlyweds, and a few international flatmates, are coming to the wedding! This crew will show you the BEST time. And Victoria can't wait to see her sister!
Scott Dryden
Best Man
John's brother and his family are coming from Lethbridge, AB to be at our wedding! We are so excited to see James (1), Charlotte (5), Gemma (7) with parents Michelle and Scott Dryden. Scott likes playing board games, video games, and golfing with John. John was Scott's best man in 2018, so this is pretty cute for them.

Barb (Bees) is Victoria's aunt and best of friend, and it's always been that way. Bees is Victoria's godmother, and Victoria is her son Max's godmother. These two pees in a pod enjoy frequent movies and brunches while John and Max play Pokémon and Nintendo.
Mitchell Peers
Groomsman
Mitchell is Victoria's younger brother. John and Mitch clicked early on, bonding over their love for Avatar, making fun of Victoria, and other questionable admirations. Mitch is currently studying kinesiology and earning his personal training certification. He lives with his lovely partner, Nevada Cunningham, who is pursuing early childhood education.

What is the order of events?
Answer
Guests can arrive at 6:30pm. The ceremony will be quick, beginning at 7:00pm. The ceremony will be followed by your open bar, passed bites, as well as taco and perogy stations. Dessert and our cake cutting are planned for 9:00pm. Brief speeches and thank you’s to begin at 9:15, followed by formal dances. The couple will be glued to the dance floor after that. Don’t miss the Emo Power Hour starting at 11:30pm!!! Guests should be gone by 1am.
