We're looking forward to celebrating with you! Please be sure to rsvp!
Jason and Valerie met on November 18, 2022, through eHarmony. At the time, Jason was active duty Navy, stationed in Southern Maryland, while Valerie was working for Fairfax County Libraries and living in Manassas, Virginia. Their connection began simply—with a smile from Valerie and a “hi” from Jason—but it quickly grew into something special. They bonded over their shared love of *Star Trek: The Next Generation*, music, 80s and 90s trivia, and superhero movies. From the very beginning, they stayed connected every single day through texts, phone calls, or both. Their first date was in Fairfax, Virginia, at Coastal Flats, followed by the movie *Plane*. After several more movie nights, sushi dates, and home-cooked meals from both of them, they became exclusive in March 2023. As they visited family and friends across Maryland, Virginia, and New Jersey—and traveled together to Baltimore (to see Anita Baker) and Philadelphia—their relationship continued to deepen. By the summer of 2023, they had fallen in love. Since then, Jason and Valerie have shared countless memories, from exploring the Air and Space Museum and walking to the Lincoln Memorial to laughing together at comedy shows. In 2025, they took a week-long trip to Las Vegas, where they saw the Sphere, Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon. On January 1, 2026, Jason proposed with Valerie’s younger sister and brother-in-law on the phone, sharing the moment with those closest to her. They have found their person in each other and are excited to invite everyone to share in the joy of their love story—finally.
