Details for Rehearsal & Rehearsal Dinner available when you RSVP.
Ryan & I met on a dating app and had our first date on March 21, 2022. Before the date, I confessed to Ryan not only that I had stalked him on social media, but also that we had the same last name. So awkward, right?! (I knew I wouldn't be able to pretend to be surprised when we inevitably realized in person). It wasn’t awkward at all. He said "I guess this happens to Smiths?!". On our second date, we made pasta from scratch and on our third, we planted a wildflower patch in his backyard (its still there today!). Date number four was Easter Dinner with The Moler's. Ryan and I have been inseparable since. Our relationship has always felt like the right balance of special & comfortable and we feel so incredibly grateful to have each other. We got engaged on October 26, 2024.

The ceremony will start at 4pm. Please arrive by at least 3:30pm to make your way up the mountain, park and find a seat. Cocktail hour & reception to immediately follow. This is a mountain property with a gravel road, see FAQ section for more information.
Maid of Honor
My sister, Allie, has been an incredible role model for me. She is empathetic, hardworking, silly & fun! When I'm struggling or need advice, she is always there to help me see a new perspective. I’m excited to have her by my side on my wedding day.
Best Man
Cody is like the brother I never had. He is one of those friends that will always be there for you--and he has. I am lucky to have a friend like him and know as Best Man he will help make our big day even more special.
Bridesmaid
Another Allie but I call her Peach! We have had countless adventures such as hiking in national parks, dancing in Nashville & horseback riding in Costa Rica. No matter the distance or time, we support each other and laugh until our bellies hurt. I don't know what I would do without her.
Groomsman
Matt. Chet. Toothless. Chester Copperpot. This man's mystical appeal is almost as legendary as his stand-up comedy streak. Jokes aside, Matt is one of the most genuine friends I've ever had--with great musical taste I might add--and I honestly can't picture my life without him.
Bridesmaid
Sarah has been my best friend for most of my life. We used to make up choreographed dances in elementary school, go to concerts hours early to stand in the front row & drive to ocean city as many times as physically possible. We can talk for hours and never run out of things to say. I am so blessed to have her in my life after all these years.
Groomsman
Robbie and I have been close since we met at ADP. We have fond memories of taking Dad's Corvette out on joint sales calls (sorry, Dad). Outside of work we have done it all together--camping, hunting, off-roading, rock climbing, concert-going, to name a few. He is one of those friends that you feel like you've known your whole life, and for that I'm grateful.
Bridesmaid
Aly is my sister-to-be, but she has already made me feel like family. She has welcomed me into her life with kindness & support. I'll never forget our laughing fits on vacation or adventures in Atlanta!
Groomsman
Brandon is my brother-in-law and has truly taken on the role as big-brother in my life. He always looks out for me and is always willing to lend a helping hand or life advice--especially over an Old Fashioned.
Bridesmaid
Kenzie is my sister-to-be and has quickly become one of my close friends. She is open, funny and has a special warmth that makes people feel comfortable. I am so grateful to have her in my life.
Groomsman
Parker is one of my best friends that I met in college. He always makes an effort to stay in-touch and make plans to get together, no matter how busy life gets. He is also responsible for fueling my obsession with beat-up secondhand 4x4s.
Bridesmaid
My sister, Jeannine, is there for me no matter what with kindness & generosity. She is thoughtful, adventurous and hilarious. Jeannine & her husband, David, supported me as I started my nursing career in DC. I lived with them as they became parents to my lovely niece Jojo.
Groomsman
Dawson is my tallest groomsmen--and that's saying something considering the lineup. It's fitting that he has a huge heart and is always there to have those big conversations that help solve the world's problems.
Flower Girl
Ryan's niece, Aly and Brandon's daughter.
Flower Girl
Leah's niece, Allie and Justin's daughter.
Ring Bearer
Leah's nephew, Zach and Amanda's son.
Ring Bearer
Leah's niece, Jeannine and David's daughter.
Our engagement on the top of Ampersand Mountain in New York! Ryan's plan, I found out later, was to set up a tripod but it was too windy. He got lucky with 2 lovely hikers who shot the perfect video.
Life together!
My favorite fancy coffee spot!
One of the most popular breweries in the area.
One of our favorite hikes!
for breakfast!
Small diner right in town
Our favorite casual spot for chicken wings! -- or any pub type food.
The wedding is on Tom & Deb Moler's mountain property at the top of a private gravel road. You will follow Tree Crops Lane to the top, there will be signs to help you. There will be plenty of space to park on the property. If you have 4WD or a car with adequate road clearance, you will be able to drive up with no problem. If not or you don't want to, that's totally fine, you will park at our neighbors house at 16834 Tree Crops Ln (any car will make it there) and there will be a shuttle provided to take you up to the property.
There are plenty of Airbnbs and Inns nearby in Round Hill and the surrounding areas of Purcellville, Bluemont, Lincoln, Hillsboro etc. Try to book one as soon as you can. The closest hotel is in Leesburg VA which is a half hour from the wedding location.
Yes please!! We never thought you’d ask. Ryan and I would LOVE for people to come early to set up a tent in the woods and camp the night of the wedding! If you’d like to do this, you can come set up your tent anytime from 10am-2pm on the day of the wedding, October 18th.
No, we ask that you drive or get a ride. Ubers may be tough to come by and may take extra time but they should be able to drop off & pick up at the bottom of Tree Crops Ln at the intersection of Wilsons Gap Rd. We will have a shuttle on Tree Crops Ln to get people up and down the mountain!
The biggest gift you could give is celebrating with us on our big day! Under the “Registry” tab, you will see several items and a few funds for our cabin renovation and honeymoon. If you attend our wedding, you will be able to see the cabin that is our future home!
Please plan to arrive at 3:30pm to get settled & find a seat. The ceremony will begin at 4pm. Sometimes getting up the mountain takes longer than you think :)
As much as we love your little ones, Ryan and I have decided to limit our wedding & reception to only our nieces and nephews. Thank you for understanding.
Yes of course. There will be vegetarian, vegan, and GF options.
