If you want to get some exercise, the Big Dam Bridge is a walking bridge that goes over the Arkansas River Dam. There are several miles of trails that extend from the bridge, and it is a great place to learn a little about Arkansas nature and to take in some beautiful scenery.

Heifer is a nonprofit founded in Little Rock which seeks to provide environmentally sustainable living to villages around the world. The headquarters has a small farm and educational exhibits that is great for kids!
This is a great street to go to for some shopping and lunch! We recommend starting at the corner of N University Avenue and Kavanaugh Boulevard and walk you way down. There is everything from clothing boutiques to specialty kitchen stores to restaurants.
The Museum of Discovery is a lot of fun for kids! I remember going to this museum as a kid many times and loving every minute of it.

Pinacle Mountain is located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Little Rock, but the views you can enjoy from atop the Mountain are so worth it! Climbing the mountain is great exercise, but just make sure to bring some water.
The River Market Pavillions are home to a food hall with several different kinds of cuisines available to choose from. This is a great place to go for lunch. Just note that it is not open on Sundays.
Rock Town Distillery is the first legal distillery of any kind to open in Arkansas since prohibition. They specialize in Bourbon Whiskey, but they make all kinds of spirits. The distillery offers tours and tastings open to the public daily.
The Root is a recently opened cafe that is great for breakfast or lunch. Guy Fieri visited the cafe to film an episode of Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives that aired on Food Network this past year--that's as good an endorsement as any!

This museum is perfect for history buffs. The museum offers exhibits detailing the years of the Clinton Administration, as well as information about Bill Clinton in Arkansas before he became President. The museum also offers a restaurant for lunch, 42 Bar and Table, open Monday-Saturday.
