Caroline and Drew met officially in February 2014. They always ran in the same circle of friends, but it wasn't until their last year of college that they became officially introduced. One day in February, Drew was walking to his friend's house to hang out with him for the day. Coincidentally, Caroline and her roommates were on their porch enjoying a few light and refreshing beverages when Drew walked by their house. Drew was lured onto the porch and they spent the rest of the day together, listening to 90s music, talking, and enjoying those light and refreshing beverages. Disclaimer: this story is misleading because this is not the first time they "met." It is, however, the first time they discovered how perfect they were for each other. Drew proposed one day in May after spending the day with Caroline at one of her favorite places in New Orleans, the WWII Museum. Before leaving for a "special dinner" at Caroline's favorite restaurant, Restaurant R'evolution, Caroline found Drew down on one knee in the entry of their house. He proposed with red roses and mom's engagement ring--obviously, she said yes!
