How We Met
Our love story began in the most unexpected of places — a dating app called Bumble. Neither of us knew it at the time, but that simple swipe would change our lives forever. We started talking and quickly realized we had a special connection. Our conversations flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter, honesty, and that feeling you get when something just clicks. For a few weeks, we got to know each other through countless FaceTime calls, sharing stories, dreams, and the little details that make you feel like you’ve known someone forever. When we finally met in person for our first date in the charming neighborhood of German Village in Columbus, OH, it was as if the universe confirmed what we already felt — this was something real. The chemistry was undeniable, and from that moment on, we've been inseparable. But it wasn’t just about the two of us. Drew quickly formed an incredible bond with my daughter, Vivian. Watching their relationship grow has been one of the most beautiful parts of our journey. They truly are best friends — from silly games and bedtime laughs to school drop-offs and inside jokes, Drew has been a steady, loving presence in both of our lives. Now, as we prepare to say “I do,” we’re filled with gratitude and excitement. What started as a modern-day chance encounter has turned into a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter — not just as husband and wife, but as a family.

What started as a classroom friendship quickly grew into so much more. From being best friends and basketball teammates to having arguments like true sisters do, Alivia and Elle have truly grown up together, navigating life side by side for over 15 years. Alivia is the definition of loyalty. She is fiercely protective of the people she loves and would go to battle — quite literally — for them. She’s someone you always want in your corner, especially if things ever get dicey. And while we promise she’s one of the kindest and funniest people you’ll ever meet… it’s also worth noting she’s a professional fighter who has handed out a black eye or two (or three). So yes, the Bride feels very safe. But beyond her toughness, Alivia has a heart of gold. She’s supportive, dependable, and always brings a sense of strength and realness to every room she walks into. Vivian goes out of her way to make those around her feel loved, seen, and important, and she does it so naturally. Whether she’s cracking jokes, giving the best hugs, or sharing her big, beautiful smile, she lights up every room she's in. She’s not just a kid — she’s a little beam of sunshine with a whole lot of spunk, and this wedding wouldn’t be complete without her.

Hazel is the Bride’s adorable 3-year-old cousin and one of our precious flower girls! She might be small, but she has a big personality and an even bigger heart. Hazel and Vivian are besties — partners in giggles, make-believe adventures, and all things fun. Hazel is silly, sweet, and always ready to dance, twirl, or share her favorite snack. She loves to copy the big kids and brings smiles to everyone around her with her tiny voice and big expressions. We’re so excited to see her walk (or skip!) down the aisle with her best friend by her side. Having Hazel as part of our day makes it even more special — and a whole lot cuter!

Zack’s been by Drew’s side since youth football days, proving that some bonds (and bruises) last a lifetime. Roommates at Denison and brothers ever since, Zack is the ultimate mix of a numbers guy and hip hop head. When he’s not crunching spreadsheets for Condado Tacos (yes, the taco joint—you’re welcome for the discount), he’s at home with his amazing wife Emilie, two very opinionated dogs (Mochambo and Edmund), and a cat named Smeagol who may or may not be plotting world domination. Ask him about his new ink or challenge him in a video game—but be warned, he doesn’t lose.

Devon started off as Drew’s RA at Denison, but quickly traded dorm duty for 2K rivalries and roommate status. A hooper through and through, Devon took his game to Europe post-college, but don’t let the jump shot fool you—this man’s got range. Now repping Louis Vuitton in Chicago, Devon is the rare mix of high fashion, artistic soul, and brutalist architecture enthusiast (yes, he can explain why that giant concrete block is beautiful). With a camera in hand and a passport always within reach, Devon’s the kind of guy who could cross you up on the court and then recommend the perfect fashion piece for your existential crisis.
Brandon Allen aka “Mayberry”

Known affectionately (and mysteriously) as Mayberry,” Brandon is the unpredictable MVP of the squad. A former pro gamer with thumb speed that defies physics, he’s now stacking wins in life—sports betting, anime marathons, and night shifts as a warehouse supervisor for UPS. Somehow, between work and wrangling three bear-sized but lovable dogs, he’s also a proud girl dad to baby Amelia and lifelong partner to his high school sweetheart, Bri. Mayberry brings the energy, the chaos, and the clutch plays—because every crew needs a wild card, and this one plays his hand flawlessly.

If you don’t know Tyler yet, don’t worry—you will in five minutes. A true socialite with a heart of gold, Tyler lights up any room he’s in (and probably knows everyone in it). When he’s not repping the Dallas Cowboys or passionately defending Notre Dame football, you’ll find him out on a trail, pounding the pavement, or just out and about making friends with strangers. He’s a proud bunny dad, a devoted partner to his longtime girlfriend Ryley, and someone who works hard, laughs harder, and brings positive vibes wherever he goes. Basically, if the wedding had a cruise director—it’d be Tyler.

Jacob is the kind of guy who can hike a trail, fix your car, and recommend a rare bourbon—all before lunch. A die-hard fan of Ohio sports (go Buckeyes, go Blue Jackets), he balances his love for the wild with a steady hand under the hood as a Senior Manager at Volkswagen Services. When he’s not collecting vinyls or renovating his newly bought house, he’s out exploring nature with his loyal labradoodle, Whiskey—who may or may not be the real boss of the household. With a sharp wit and an even sharper sense of humor, Jacob keeps the crew laughing and the good times rolling.

Drew and I had one of our first dates here. A Maysville Staple - George Clooney, a Maysville native, can be seen hanging out here from time to time. Caproni's offers a beautiful view of the river. It is also within walking distance from The French Quarter Inn.
