The Bride’s Perspective: We have a few mutual friends and eventually crossed paths in 2021. We went on a few dates but didn’t hit it off until 2022. In April, we reconnected, and he asked if he could bring me lunch one day while at work. With a barbecue plate in one hand and a folder of a huge accomplishment in the other to share, he was eager to tell me how I inspired him to be an even better person. I remember Al asking me to take a chance on him. It was genuine and so sweet I couldn't resist. His persistence, gentle spirit, patience, transparency, and kindness penetrated my heart, making me head over heels. Since this day, the rest was truly history. He has continued to be my best friend, protector, and my love!

The Groom’s Perspective: From the first day I saw her, I knew she was the one for me. I'm huge on family, so having all my family in town for my birthday weekend was perfect timing for me to propose. It’s not out of the ordinary for me to have a family photo shoot for this occasion. I arranged a nice photo shoot (at least, that’s what she was thinking). With the help of some friends and family, I was able to plan things smoothly. As the sun began to set, I had all our loved ones come out behind her back without her knowing. She was surrounded by love. Even friends and family who couldn’t make it were on FaceTime. I asked her to look back and immediately got on one knee to ask the most important question. I got the answer I prayed for, “YES, I WILL MARRY YOU!” See you January 6, 2024!
