We invite our guests to stay at the Inns of Dorset, located just 4 miles away from the Old Gray Barn. Transportation to and from the wedding venue will be provided for guests staying at the Inn. The Inns of Dorset, including the Dorset Inn and Barrows House, have rooms in the town for our family and friends to stay, and breakfast at the Dorset Inn is included in your reservation! We ask that if you are able, please call 802-867-5500 and mention our wedding to book your room prior to January 31st. Rooms will be held exclusively for our wedding until that date. Afterwards, any remaining rooms will be released to the public, available on a first come first serve basis. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Doris, Dan, or their families!

All guests coming up Friday night are welcome to join us for a toast at The Barrows House Main Inn Pub (cash bar). Dress code is casual, the wedding party will be in cocktail attire. We can't wait to see you there!

Wedding Ceremony and Reception

Given that the sun sets around 4:30 in November, and there is a gorgeous mountain behind us, our ceremony will begin at 3 pm. Weather can be fickle, but we are optimistic and hoping for an outdoor ceremony! Please let us know your meal selection, and reach out to us if you Transportation to and from the Old Grey Barn will be provided for guests, including stops at the Dorset Inn and Barrows House. More details on the timing of the shuttles will be available closer to the wedding, but plan to be ready for departure around 2:30 pm. Anyone not staying at the Inns of Dorset may park at one of the two stops and utilize the shuttle, though parking is limited! Additional parking around the Dorset Green may be available. Please note that the after party will be at Barrows House Bar.

After Party

The most important thing to us is that you're able to come and celebrate our wedding. If you wish to give a gift, we would greatly appreciate it! We have lived together in Somerville with our cat Bernie since 2022, and we have most of the things we need for our small home. We have pulled together a few wish list items that we would love (like dishware from our favorite Vermont pottery store), and we are saving up to purchase a home of our own. We welcome any contributions towards these savings!
