It is an Islamic wedding ceremony; therefore, customs may be different.
We are having an Islamic ceremony but feel free to dress as you wish. No need to wear an Islamic attire. We recommend a semi-formal attire.
Yes, there is an open bar! Please know that alcohol will only be avaliable if you walk up to the bar! This is due to religious reasons we asked that no alcohol be serviced to the table. Thank you for your understanding!

"Little Dominican Republic" or "Little DR. In September of 2018, this town was proclaimed an official designation in Washington Heights' Inwood neighborhood, home to one of the largest Dominican communities in the world. Little DR is a commercial and cultural designation for Inwood with immersive tours and events that showcase products that reflect the Dominican culture, heritage and neighborhood pride. Recommendation for restaurants include La Casa del Mofongo, El Malecon, or Mamajuana Cafe (one can be found in Paterson, NJ as well!). Authentic dessert locations include Bakery Mocana to try their bizcocho dominicano (Dominican cake).

On May 15, 2022, Paterson officially renamed a part of Main Street "Palestine Way.” Paterson has the largest community of Palestinians in New Jersey and has been a magnet for Palestinian immigrants since the 1890s. The food, businesses and boutiques are all reflections of Palestinian culture. Recommendations for food include Al-Basha and Abu Rass. For authentic dessert such as Knafeh recommendation include Nablus Sweets.
“Little Lima” or “Peru Square.” On April 28, 2016, the city council unanimously passed a resolution designating the area of Mill, Market, Main and Cianci streets as "Peru Square." Peruvians have continued moving to the U.S., with nearly 30,000 settling in Paterson. This town hosts many Peruvian bakeries, bodegas, restaurants, hair salons and travel agencies. Recommendations for food include Leña y Carbón and Griselda’s. Recommendation for the best Peruvian dessert picarones would be Dulcemente Peruano.
Demarest Farms was founded in 1886 and has since been a staple within the Bergen County Community. Offering a variety of activities, including peach picking, apple picking, and pumpkin picking, the farm is the perfect spot for family-fun. The farm market offers plants, produce, fresh baked goods, and more for all of its guests to enjoy! Don't forget to try their apple cider donuts!
