Where are the bride and groom staying?

We have a rental home with a backyard, pool/hot tub, game room, etc. We’d love to see you — join us on Saturday afternoon, July 4th, for a casual BBQ at the house!

Where is the wedding venue?

We’re heading out to the country! The ceremony and reception will be held at Vineyard Farms Barn, about 30 minutes from downtown New Buffalo. To make it easy, we’ll have a party bus providing round-trip transportation for guests.

What’s the dress code?

The wedding is semi-formal / summer cocktail attire. Think dresses, jumpsuits, sport coats, or dress shirts. The barn is elegant but rustic, so feel free to leave stilettos at home and opt for wedges or flats.

New Buffalo has several great hotels, VRBO or Airbnb rentals, and inns. Many are walkable to downtown and the beach. (Note: some hotels do not accept room blocks, so we recommend booking early!)

How do we get around?

Answer

Downtown New Buffalo is very walkable, with some Ubers and local taxis. For the wedding itself, no need to drive — we’ll provide party bus transportation to and from the venue.

What’s the weather like in July?

Answer

Expect warm summer days (70s–80s) and cooler evenings near the lake. Bring a light jacket or wrap for nighttime.
